Talking to Yourself

Talking to yourself / Lewis Coleman

Set in a wild basin called Devils Kitchen in rural Victoria, we’re already feeling a bit off with the strange rock formations that define this old quarry.

Bring into the brew a bit of heady bass and Lewis’ depth in writing & we have TALKING TO YOURSELF.

Part commentary on our human addiction to being ‘online’ for so much of our lives - we symbolised this loosely with the apathetic white, eerily AI designed character that Lewis is in round-about dialogues with.

We shot this, alongside some more scenes over a couple of days & hope to bring out four music videos in total for the new album. Each one has its own definite style, but I’m so glad this one was first of the rank.

With a range of zooming shots that dwarf human to landscape, I hope the music video either gives you a big introduction to Lewis’ music, or continues you on the path you have already found yourself on. Dig in and keep on watching.
